MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alana Scott collected three hits, but Alabama State could not muster any offense in a 13-0 loss to Samford University on Tuesday at the Barbara Williams Softball Complex.
Mason Quinnie (2-6) started and took the loss in the circle for Alabama State (11-23).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Alabama State managed one chance with runners on third, going a total of 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position. The Hornets got a runner on third in the sixth, when Talee Sims made it 60 feet away from scoring with one out.
