ASU Soccer Losses 5-0 Decision
Montgomery, Ala. - The Alabama State University Soccer team allowed Southeastern Louisiana to score four first period goals, but held The Lady Lions to only one goal in the second period. The final from Hornet Stadium was 5-0. 
Goalie, Chelsea Nash tallied up 12 saves on the afternoon before exiting the match with a concussion in the second period. Midfielder Samantha Bruno also took an early exit with a head injury.   “We have a quick turnaround this week with a match coming up on Thursday”.   Head Coach Jodie Smith said. “It’ll be interesting to see when we’ll get those players back because they’re needed”.
The loss pushed ASU back to 0-3 on the season. Southeastern improved to 3-0. The lady hornets were outshot 24-2 in the contest with both Danielle Miller and Monique Sylvester having one shot attempt each for Alabama State. 
ASU travles to Faulkner this Thursday. The match starts at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
