Hornets Compete at Auburn Track Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. – The Alabama State University track and field team produced several strong performances during the War Eagle Invitational hosted by Auburn University over the weekend at Hutsell-Rosen Track.

The ASU 4x400m relay squad accounted for the Hornets’ lone title at the extremely competitive event racing to a top time of 3:09.93. The championship quartet included Vincent Butler, Jonathan Franklin, Charles Flewellen and Dorean Peek.

The ASU track and field teams continue their outdoor season Apr. 24 at the Coach “O” Classic in Troy, Ala., before heading to the 2010 SWAC Outdoor Championship on Apr. 29-May 1 in New Orleans.
