BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama State University women's soccer standout Danielle Miller was named to the 2009 Southwestern Athletic All-Conference second team the league office announced Thursday during the SWAC Championship tournament in Itta Bena, Miss.

Miller, a junior midfielder from Greece, N.Y., was the Lady Hornets top performer this season. She finished the year tied for 10th in the SWAC with five goals scored. Miller posted a pair of two-goal performances against Birmingham-Southern and Huntingdon College.

ASU's 2009 soccer season concluded Nov. 1 with a hard fought 3-0 loss at Alcorn State.
